Summarit 50mm ƒ1.5 lens caps
Hunting around for a silver lens cap for your Summarit 50mm? Apparently you can get them quite easily in Tokyo. In Nov 2000, Dr Joseph Yao noted:
Replica Leitz 41mm metal front caps are available from many Leica dealers in Tokyo for approx. US$30. I picked up a few for my Summarits when I was there last year. They look just like the real thing, even down to the maroon felt lining inside the rim! Other classic Leica accessories, such as 39/41mm lens hoods, M2/3 style flash socket covers, were also easily available.
